. . . that’s the title of the poster we just presented at the annual conference for the Association of College & Research Libraries in Baltimore, MD. This was a great opportunity for us to spread the word about our program: a free online continuing education program for library workers to learn how to teach online.
We shared lots of what we learned in the first 2 years of our 3 year IMLS grant, and the work we’re doing now in our final year to make our modules even better and share them on-demand, for free, via WebJunction.org starting in May. If you didn’t get to stop by, you can still sign up for our email list to get an announcement from us when we have the exact date and URL for our launch in May. We’ve uploaded our poster and handouts to the ACRL virtual conference site, but you can also access them here:
- PDF of our poster (in 4 panels)
- PDF of our handout
- syllabus for the new and improved Foundation Module
- sample of our workbook for the Foundation Module, which accompanies our online content for that module
- graphic of the 7 Step Process for Instructional Design for Online Learning, used in our modules
Please contact us if you have any questions about this program, especially as we get closer to our May launch!
