Since 2015, we’ve been teaching library workers how to design instruction and teach online, with opportunities to practice teaching online. Our first cohort began working September 1, 2015 and the second cohort began working February 1, 2016. They included participants from all types of libraries, subject specializations, and library experience levels, all over the country. Based on their experiences with the program, now we’re making it even better!
The Design for Learning Leadership Team is currently very busy revising all our content to make it freely available to the national library community by the end of our grant in May 2017. Our next phase is the development of an on-demand version that will allow self-selected, self-paced experience in the program, available through WebJunction.org.
