By the end of this module, you will be able to:


12 October – 18 October

Topic 1. 7 Steps to Effective Online Teaching. Formal Instructional Design Strategy Overview.

19 October – 25 October

Topic 2. Focus on Instructional Design Steps 1 through 4. You will identify an instructional topic, assess instructional needs, identify potential learners, conduct an instructional analysis, and create learning outcomes.

26 October – 1 November

Topic 3. Focus on Instructional Design Steps 5 through 7. You will plan instructional strategies; including instructional presentation and learner participation; as well as choosing instructional tools and planning instructional materials; and formative and summative evaluation.

1 November – 8 November

Topic 4. Create Your Instructional Design Plan Draft for your Capstone Module Project and Participate in Peer Review with your Learning Circle Peers.

In this final week of the Foundation (Instructional Design ) Module, you will put it all your work together in creating a draft instructional design plan for your Capstone Module Project for next year. By then, you’ll have made lots of changes, but a journey must begin someplace!
